Invasive Species

The Invasive Species audio walk is best done with equipment that can be collected, for free, from An Tobar - this includes an MP3 player, special headphones, a map, information booklet and a treat for the end of the walk.

If you don’t have time to collect the equipment but you still want to do the walk, you can download the audio tracks below and use your own device.

Remember to take a photo of the map. You’ll need that in order to follow the route of the walk.

Sections of audio are matched to specific parts of the walk. The walk starts at the Mull Theatre. This is location 0. There are 6 more locations you will pass through. At each of these locations there is a playmarker. You can see images of the playmarkers on the board (figure 1). When you reach a playmarker, you will see a number near it. Navigate forward to take you to the track with this number. Sometimes the audio track will invite you to stand or sit near the playmarker while you listen.

You will also see route markers. They are there to reassure you that you’re on the right track and to help you spot turnings in the route. You don’t need to stop at them. There are also pictures of route markers on the board (figure 2).

Before downloading the tracks, you will want to join the Mull Theatre wifi. It is called XXX and the password is XXX.
