A Glimpse Of The Garden, 1,000 years of Persian poetry

  • An Tobar Argyll Terrace Tobermory, Isle of Mull United Kingdom (map)

Paradise is beyond our reach, but we can glimpse it through poetry.

Persian poets, male and female, have inspired and influenced English-speaking writers and poets for hundreds of years, from the poetry of Rabi’a Basri to the Rubáiyat of Omar Khayyam.

Poets, visual artists, and anyone who has grown up with and loved the Rubáiyat are invited to a one-day workshop to explore the poetry of this fascinating region.

We will be making poems and lists, colouring, and exploring the literary brocade that is Persia.
