Beginners Pottery Residency – Isle of Mull
Monday 24 August – Friday 28 August
Maximum 6 participants
A Week of Clay, Coastlines, and Creative Grounding
Slow down, breathe deeply, and spend a week immersed in clay on the Isle of Mull. This intimate, hands-on residency is designed for absolute beginners and anyone seeking time, space, and gentle guidance to explore their creativity.
Across five calm, structured studio days (10am–4pm), you'll learn the full range of pottery fundamentals — pinch pots, coil vessels, slab forms, and wheel throwing — each taught in its own dedicated half-day session. This clear, spacious structure allows for meaningful practice, confidence-building, and creative growth. Midweek, the residency expands out into the landscape with a guided Inspiration Day, where Mull’s sculptural coastline becomes your sketchbook and muse.
With only six participants, you’ll receive close attention, encouragement, and the space to develop your own creative voice.
