A poignant and uplifting celebration of the power of melancholy music.

We Will Hear The Angels explores the strange state of melancholy through words, movement and music. Performed by an ensemble of five actor-musicians, it features music by Hank Wiliams, Orange Juice, Etta James, Moondog and J.S. Bach among others.

Stunned by her husband’s infidelity, Bea feels heartbroken and alone. If only she knew that her neighbours, Sonia, Van and Ian, were each also trying to get over the pain in their hearts, unable to articulate how they feel.
