Green Awareness Programme: Autumn Foraging Walk with Jemima Hall
Funded by the Pebble Trust as part of our Green Awareness programme, hosted by the artist & forager Jemima Hall, for an afternoon of Autumn foraging in Aros Park, Tobermory.
An Introduction to Conscious Foraging, the Hunter-Gatherer Way
Join us (12.45pm for 1pm) for a gentle and insightful foraging workshop exploring the abundance of the natural environment in early autumn. Guided by the principles of the Hunter-Gatherer tradition, you’ll learn to forage with awareness and respect for the land.
We’ll identify a variety of beginner-friendly wild foods—including edible leaves, flowers, berries, mushrooms, and trees—while discussing sustainable practices and seasonal wisdom. Together, we’ll share our findings and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed wild tea.
What to bring: a walking stick or long stick (for reaching or gentle tapping), a pair of scissors, and a bag or small basket for your foraged items.
Tickets are Free but please book early, only 12 spaces available
