Green Awareness Programme: Food Composting Workshop

Got food scraps? Let’s turn them into something great!

We’re excited to invite you to join our Compost Club—a community initiative giving you access to our on-site food composter here at An Tobar. Whether you're compost-curious or ready to commit, this is your chance to reduce waste and grow greener together.

What to Expect:

  • A relaxed chat about food waste and why composting matters

  • A hands-on intro to Colin the Composter (yes, we’ve named him!)

  • Step-by-step guidance on how the system works

  • A free Compost Club info pack and chance to sign up as a registered user

Composting is a simple way to reduce your carbon footprint, keep waste out of landfill, and create rich, nutrient-packed compost to nourish the earth.

In collaboration with Island Castaways - Mull & Iona Environmentally Sensitive Solutions.

Funded by the Pebble Trust as part of our Green Awareness programme.

Tickets are Free but booking is essential.
