Solastalgia: A Poetic Meditation on Climate Change
A guided walk with Dr. Micah Mackay
Join us for an immersive exploration of Solastalgia—the deep ache of a changing world—through movement, observation, and collaborative creation.
As we wander the shores of Loch na Keal, we’ll attune ourselves to the quiet details: the shifting light on water, the whisper of reeds, the imprint of absence. Using our phones, we will record fragments of the landscape—glimpses of a fluid, ever-changing landscape. Then, together, we will weave a living poem, layering personal reflection with the textures of this place, giving voice to loss, resilience, and the uncertain beauty of now.
After our journey, the collected footage will be transformed into a short film, a poetic testament to the moment we shared.
