Mull Flicks
Mull Flicks is a year-long film programme for young people aged 12–18, bringing a different film to An Tobar each month.
Led by our Young Programmers Group, Mull Flicks gives young people on Mull the chance to choose, discuss and shape the films shown at their local arts venue. With support from our Film and Creative Learning teams, the programme will explore a wide range of cinema, from independent British and international films to animation, documentaries, screen heritage and stories from underrepresented communities.
Films will explore themes including coming of age, identity, friendship, belonging, creativity, mental wellbeing and environmental responsibility. We’ll also have special seasonal screenings around Halloween, Christmas and Pride Month.
Each screening will be followed by a discussion or creative activity, giving young people the chance to share their thoughts, explore the themes of each film and discover more about cinema.
Mull Flicks is open to everyone, with screenings taking place after school or in the early evening and tickets available on a pay-what-you-decide basis.
Come along, watch something different and help us shape the future of film on Mull.
