Mull Highland Games
Art Prize Exhibition

For the Mull Highland Games Art Prize and the Highland Art Prize you are all invited to enter a painting, photo, collage or other 2D work and/or any three-dimensional work in any medium. Prize categories are; 2 dimensional (open), 2 dimensional (under 18s), 3 dimensional (open) and 3 dimensional (under 18s.)

This is a prize started in 2021 and we hope this year to include all the artists on the island and give all the opportunity to showcase their work.

All artworks entered will be hung in An Tobar Café in July for a month and during the week of the Mull Highland Games on Thursday 23 July 2026.

T&Cs: All works entered should have been completed in the last year.  There is no entry fee or hanging fee for either exhibition and it will be up to you whether you want to sell in either exhibition.  The work will be subject to a 30% commission selling fee. For displaying in An Tobar all work must be ready to hang with details on the reverse. Please include: Artist’s name, name of work, year, description, dimensions and price (if for sale), in that order. Artists can enter up to 3 pieces of work, a maximum of 1.5 metres square. We can't guarantee all artwork will be displayed. All work must be delivered to An Tobar before 3pm on Friday 26 June.

The Highland Society of London is delighted to announce that the Highland Art Prize will return for a fifth year in conjunction with An Comunn Gàidhealach as part of the Royal National Mòd from Friday 9th October to Saturday 17th October 2026, during which the 70+ artworks comprising the Highland Art Prize exhibition will be open to the public at The Briggait, 141 Bridgegate, Glasgow G1 5HZ, courtesy of Wasps.

We are also grateful to Wasps, the UK’s largest provider of studios and creative spaces, for once again offering the winning artist the opportunity to mount an exhibition during 2027 in a street-front space at The Briggait in central Glasgow. For more details about participating in this year’s Highland Art Prize, please review the Entries page for details.
