As part of the Royal Scottish Academy's 200th anniversary celebrations throughout 2026, the RSA are working with partners across Scotland and beyond to shine a spotlight on the Academy's past, present and future. RSA200: Celebrating Together will be a unique and far-reaching festival of Scottish art and architecture.
Integral to the RSA's history is the Academy's Life School at The Mound in Edinburgh, where fine art, including life drawing, was taught until the formation of Edinburgh College of Art in 1907 (from where the Life School continued to function until 1930).
To highlight this, An Tobar and Mull Theatre welcome artist George Donald RSA to deliver a one-day life drawing class at An Tobar.
