Kirsty Law and Magnetic North present a World Premiere of Strength In A Whisper to Mull audiences
A folksong music theatre performance by acclaimed Scots folksinger Kirsty Law.
Waking on a winter’s morning, snowed in and with the power is out, a young woman takes in the day in front of her. As she gathers wood for the fire and water from the burn, she encounters a young deer, fragile and taking the necessary steps to survival, like her. They hold each others’ gaze, then, like an apparition, the fawn flits away. Back inside, she finds herself turning to memory, to song, to story. As dawn beckons, it brings with it a new voice.
