A Fraction of a Second - Photography workshop with Ben Douglas
Street photographer Ben Douglas will lead a photography workshop using polaroid cameras. With his guidance you’ll explore how curiosity, timing and composition can turn a simple observation into a profound one.
Starting at An Tobar before taking a walk through the town and along the nearby Lighthouse Walk, each participant will take 8 photographs on a polaroid camera which can be taken home. The limited scope and quantity of this photographic medium will encourage you to be mindful in your decision making.
At the end of the workshop each participant will be asked to select one of their photographs to be left behind to become part of a collaborative artwork.
Bring appropriate gear for a gentle walk, all materials provided.
