Who We Are

An Tobar and Mull Theatre exists to provide life-enriching arts and culture experiences to our island community.

As the only multi-arts and producing theatre in the Hebrides, we bring world-class theatre, music, visual arts, and creative learning to our island home while sharing our work across Scotland, the UK, and internationally. We are deeply connected to our community and committed to celebrating island culture, supporting artists, and ensuring that creativity thrives in our remote, rural context.

Who We’re Looking For

We recruit Board members in line with our Trustee skills matrix, and so specific needs vary as strategy evolves. Right now, we are seeking dynamic and engaged individuals who can bring experience and insight in the following areas:

· Finance

· Legal Expertise

· HR Skills

· Property Development

You don’t need to have been a trustee before—if you’re a UK resident, passionate about the arts and want to make a difference, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role as a Trustee

· Attend quarterly board meetings and occasional strategic planning sessions

· Provide governance and strategic oversight

· Bring you specific skills, talents and experience to near in advising our CEO and senior team and helping design our long term strategy

· Support fundraising and advocacy efforts

· Help shape and champion our creative vision
