The Morrich

A duet between dancer and sound artist, The Morrich is a response to living in a remote, rural Highland community in close proximity to an Air Weapons Range. 

The performance explores what it means to inhabit a complex place where war and nature co-exist and considers what will remain and what will evolve in a post-Anthropocene world.

Audiences are invited to visit the supporting visual arts exhibition in the Snug at An Tobar, which shares photographs, video and found objects from the research and development of the work.

The Morrich is funded by the Creative Scotland Open Fund and supported by An Tobar and Mull Theatre, Dance Base and Artspace Highland.
