Technical Development Workshops for Emerging Theatre Makers
Over two days, participants will cover many of the technical aspects of theatre making, from simple terminology to a more in-depth look at how to get the best from sound and lighting, and how to work with designers. You will also have the opportunity to meet other emerging theatre makers, as the workshop includes two nights of accommodation on a single occupancy basis at our theatre house in Tobermory. Travel expenses will not be provided.
Lauren Collier Band at An Tobar
Following our anniversary celebrations and the opening of our first exhibition of the year, we’re delighted to welcome the superb Lauren Collier Band for our first gig of the year at An Tobar.
Lauren Collier is a Scottish fiddle player and singer whose music brings together Scottish traditional music with influences from around the world. Originally from Ayrshire and now based in Glasgow, she is known for her expressive fiddle playing, captivating vocals and distinctive arrangements that blend tradition with contemporary creativity.
