Youth Arts Programme

We are really thrilled to share the achievements of An Tobar and Mull Theatre's youth arts programme this past term! We have managed a whopping 460 youth theatre sessions, igniting inspiration in young hearts and minds. 

Our diverse array of activities included weekly sessions in Youth Theatre, Dance, Early Learning, Movement for Wellness, Art, Music, and Storytelling. These engaging experiences have not only nurtured artistic talents but also fostered personal growth and self-expression in our young participants. 

In addition, we've had the privilege of hosting professional residencies that have left a lasting impact on both our youngsters and the wider community, challenging perceptions and inspiring new perspectives. We've also provided vital technical support to local community-led organizations, lending a helping hand to enable their creative visions.

Through our student intern program, we've opened doors for budding performers and technical enthusiasts, providing invaluable hands-on learning opportunities and mentorship. We firmly believe in empowering the next generation of artists and technicians.

Moreover, we've actively collaborated with esteemed institutions like the National Theatre and Scottish Youth Theatre, offering a wider horizons program that broadens experience and encourages young minds to dream big. 

And let's not forget the fantastic Mull Youth Theatre performances we've produced, showcasing the incredible talents of our participants. The response has been amazing, with such high demand that we currently have a waiting list for our weekly workshops. 

Our mission is all about delivering essential skills, fostering a love for learning, sharing unforgettable moments, and, of course, having fun! We are committed to expanding our reach and touching the lives of as many students of all ages as possible, ensuring that the transformative power of the arts knows no bounds.
